Management

David Russell
David is a Founder and Managing Director of Equis based in Melbourne. David has over 30 years of Asia-Pacific infrastructure and private equity experience, raising and investing over A$8.3 billion of equity for some of Asia-Pacific’s largest regional, and country specific (China, Japan and South Korea), independent and institutional infrastructure funds.
David was previously the CEO and Chairman of Equis Energy which was the largest independent renewable energy power producer in the Asia-Pacific at the time. In 2017, David led the Equis team in successfully completing the sale of the Equis Energy portfolio to Global Infrastructure Partners which, at the time, the largest renewable energy transaction in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China).
David graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria. He began his career as a Senior Associate at Minter Ellison where he was responsible for originating, developing, negotiating and executing numerous acquisitions, greenfield developments and project financings across the energy generation, distribution and transmission sectors.
In 2005, David became the Representative Director at Macquarie Capital Funds in Seoul, Korea, where he established the A$1.5 billion Macquarie Korea Opportunities Fund (MKOF), Korea’s largest private equity infrastructure fund. He was responsible for MKOF’s establishment and all of MKOF’s capital raisings. David was then appointed as Head of the Macquarie Capital Funds offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai where he was responsible for developing Macquarie’s infrastructure funds management business in Greater China. In a joint venture with China Everbright Limited, David developed the Macquarie Everbright Greater China Infrastructure Fund, which invested in power generation and distribution, water and sewerage treatment, gas and oil distribution and storage, toll roads, airports, container and other sectors in Greater China.
David is also the founder and Chairman of the CSS Foundation, which is focused on supporting vulnerable parents and children in Russia, Uzbekistan and the Philippines

David Russell

Mahesh Reddy Indluri
Mahesh is a seasoned senior executive with over 14 years of experience in investment management and infrastructure development. His career has focused on the development and execution of infrastructure projects across solar energy generation, wind energy generation, hydro energy generation, battery energy storage, and waste infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. Mahesh joined Equis in 2012 and became a Managing Director in 2023. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in establishing Equis’ presence in Australia, identifying key investment opportunities and setting up the EIA business.
He was instrumental in expanding Equis Energy into the solar and wind sectors in India, overseeing investment of over US$500 million and the successful construction of over 500MW of renewable energy projects. Additionally, Mahesh contributed to Equis' expansion into other Southeast Asian markets, particularly the Philippines and Indonesia, where Equis invested over US$200 million. Mahesh moved to Singapore in 2016 where he led the sell-side M&A process for the sale of Equis Energy, which was valued at an enterprise value of US$5 billion, marking it as the largest renewable energy transaction in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China). Mahesh was also pivotal in the US$1.25bn capital raise for Equis Development.
Prior to joining Equis, Mahesh was an investment banking analyst at Assetz Group. Notable transactions include investment and divestment to Blackstone in a mix-use real estate development in Bangalore, India.
Mahesh holds a Bachelor and Masters of Technology (Electrical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Roby Camagong
Roby is an Investment Director and is the Platform Lead for Equis Renewables. He has over 13 years of experience in renewable energy, private equity and infrastructure development and investment across Australia, the Philippines and other regions across Asia. Roby has completed several high-profile infrastructure transactions in Asia worth approximately A$1.8bn, including renewable energy projects totaling more than 1.5GW in generation capacity.
In 2018, Roby played a key role in the development, execution, capital raising, asset management, and strategic divestment of the largest solar and wind portfolio in the Philippines.
In 2021, he contributed to the successful US$1.25bn fundraising of Equis’ Asia Pacific development vehicle.
In Equis, Roby has worked on 8 diversified infrastructure platforms across 6 private equity funds and one development corporate vehicle.
Most recently, Roby co-founded Equis’ Renewables BESS platform in Australia in 2022 which has attracted an investment of A$1.6bn into the Australian economy as at 2024. The Platform has now grown to a 4.5GW portfolio, with 1,600 MWh of storage capacity under construction and a further 1,000 MWh of storage capacity with development consent and grid connection access.
Prior to joining Equis, Roby was an Investment Banking Associate at RCBC Capital working across project finance and capital market transactions. Notable deals include the preemptive US$85 million restructuring of Petrosolar Energy Corp and a US$50 million refinancing of the Maibarara geothermal power facility. Roby also worked as a Professor of Finance at De La Salle University where he led the teaching of various advanced subjects to finance undergraduates.
Roby holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from De La Salle University and a Masters in International Business from Hult Business School.

Andrew has over 18 years in Australian large-scale renewable energy and has previously held senior positions at ENGIE, Goldwind and WSP where he was responsible for the development, construction, and delivery of primarily large-scale wind and storage projects.

Bryce Paterson
Bryce is a Director and Head of Legal at Equis and is responsible for all legal and compliance matters in Australia including project delivery, project finance, corporate governance, risk and regulatory oversight.
Prior to joining Equis, Bryce was a Senior Legal Counsel at AGL Energy and Senior Associate at White & Case and Herbert Smith Freehills. Bryce’s experience involved acting for developers, owners and financiers on large renewable energy and infrastructure projects across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Bryce has negotiated complex construction and finance documentation for numerous core infrastructure, oil and gas, and large-scale renewable energy projects.
Bryce holds a Doctor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne.

Edoardo Viel
Ed joined Equis in 2021 and has over 25 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure industry. His key responsibilities as Grid Connections Director include managing and executing key connection agreements for Equis projects, grid compliance obligations, and advising on key technical and regulatory workstreams for the Equis Renewables platforms.
Prior to joining Equis, he served as a GM Asset Engineering at AusNet Services, where he strategically led a team of over 70 engineers in the development of projects, overseeing on average A$175 million of capital expenditure per year. Ed also worked across business development at Mondo where he managed a commercial infrastructure asset portfolio of over A$1 billion. Succeeding this, he held the role of Executive Manager of Engineering Services at Pacific Hydro, where he oversaw the delivery of their first solar grid connection and previously commissioned their first project in South Australia.
Ed has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Cardiff University and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padua.

Elizabeth has over 17 years of experience in planning with 15 years spent across the infrastructure and renewable energy sector in Australia.
At Equis, she manages an in-house team of planning and environmental professionals to ensure streamlined approval outcomes for Equis' various renewable energy projects. She also ensures that projects comply with all permitting obligations.
Before joining Equis, Elizabeth served as a Senior Environmental Planner at Goldwind Australia, where she gained extensive experience in managing permit compliance for multiple large-scale wind energy projects totalling over 800MW. She also held roles at CPS Global and Pacific Hydro.
Elizabeth is registered with the Planning Institute of Australia, holds a Masters in Urban Planning and Environment from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Biology/Biological Sciences) from Deakin University.

Johan began his career as a Mechanical Engineer in South Africa and has since gained 22 years of international experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) management projects. His expertise spans various industries, including civil,infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, project services, nuclear energy, renewable energy, and power.
Throughout his career, Johan has held senior positions at leading companies such as Leighton Contractors, UGL, Alstom, GeneralElectric, and Vestas.
He has successfully led the delivery of over 10.2GW of conventional power projects and 512MW of wind power projects.At Equis, Johan upholds a management philosophy grounded in integrity, quality, safety and service.

Michael recently joined Equis as a Director – Head of Energy Markets. Michael has worked for some of Australia’s large Gentailers for the past 13 years focusing on Market and Credit Risk, Hedging Strategy development, Portfolio Optimisation and Product Structuring.
Michael is focused on expanding the Energy Markets expertise and function within Equis, which will deliver in-house market modelling and advisory services to the Investment and broader Development teams. Energy Markets will also provide key avenues to market to transact long term asset tolling as well as derivative trading, in order to manage the risk and return for any merchant exposed assets.
Energy Markets will be responsible for the market operations of Equis’ assets. This will include development of battery bidding strategy and in time development of in-house battery bidding algorithms.

Vincenzo Di Gennaro
Vincenzo has over 18 years of experience in Europe, the Middle East, and Australia, working across power and renewable energy sectors as an engineer, consultant, and entrepreneur. At Equis, he specialises in photovoltaic generation, energy storage and electrical high voltage distribution, focusing on technology development, system design, procurement, and construction.
Prior to joining Equis, Vincenzo served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Raygen Resources, where he was responsible for product and system development across the business, delivering up to 50% cost reductions and regulatory compliance with Australian and International Standards. He also worked as a Director of Technical Services and Products – APAC at Canadian Solar, where he oversaw the local Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams in executing large projects such as the Darlington Point Solar Farm.
Vincenzo has a Master of Engineering (Electrical) with Honours from Politecnio di Bari and a Master of Business Administration from SDA Bocconi Business School.

Jack joined Equis in 2023 as the Senior Legal Counsel, where he plays a key role in managing workstreams across Equis’ Equis Renewables BESS platform and Onshore Wind platforms.
His responsibilities include overseeing project finance, offtake, construction and development, approvals, as well as general procurement and compliance.
Before joining Equis, Jack started his legal career as a Solicitor at Simpson Grierson before moving to Clayton Utz, where he served as a Senior Associate. He gained valuable experience at large infrastructure companies such as NBN Co and AGL Energy, where he worked as both a Senior Corporate Lawyer in Integrated Energy Markets and Technology and Corporate Procurement.
Jack graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor’s Degree of Law (Honours).

Anna joined Equis in 2022 and has over 7 years of experience working across legal and compliance in the infrastructure and construction industries. Anna’s responsibilities within the Equis Renewables BESS platform include working across drafting and negotiation of project documents and the in-house legal responsibilities for multiple development workstreams.
Prior to her role at Equis, Anna was a Senior Associate at Minter Ellison. In her role she worked on large scale infrastructure projects , providing transactional and delivery phase advice to public and private sector clients.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Monash University.

Anna Sexton
Anna joined Equis in 2024 and has over 23 years experience working across the renewable energy and other infrastructure sectors in both the private and public sectors. She has successfully lead teams and major organisations and has significant corporate governance expertise.
Prior to joining Equis, Anna held senior roles at the Clean Energy Council including being the Executive General Manager of Corporate Services. She was also a Principal managing the governance workstream at the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership.
Anna holds a Master of Laws from Monash University, Bachelor of Education from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has received a Graduate Certificate in Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia.

Ben joined Equis in 2024 and has over 15 years experience working in project and commercial management on large-scale infrastructure projects. Ben’s responsibilities for the Equis Renewables BESS platform include the administration of agreements and management of commercial matters on active projects in delivery phase and supporting the preparation and negotiation of contracts in development phase.
Prior to his role with Equis, Ben has worked on the delivery of renewable energy projects, gas fired power stations, substation design and delivery, mining, oil and gas and rail infrastructure projects. In these roles, Ben has led contracting strategies to mitigate commercial claims and manage risk through project development and delivery.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Monash University, a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management from RMIT and a Masters of Business Administration from Deakin.

Chandrajit is an accomplished market modelling and insights lead with extensive experience in the energy sector, having worked at Energy Australia and AGL Energy over a 14-year career. He joined Equis in 2024 to support Equis’ in house energy market forecasting, analytics and PLEXOS capabilities.
Over his career he has played a pivotal role in developing a long-term spot price models to forecast market trends, significantly enhancing decision-making for energy trading. Additionally, he has mentored team members, modernised systems through cloud-based migration, and improved forecasting accuracy with advanced technologies.
Chandrajit holds a Diploma of Financial Markets (Energy) from the Academy of Finance and Management Australia and holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Computer Science from the Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management in India.

Chris has over 14 years of experience as a Commercial and Risk Analyst at Energy Australia, AGL Energy and Telstra. He joined Equis in 2024 to support the development of Equis’ in house energy markets analytics capabilities.
Throughout his professional career, Chris has developed deep expertise identifying, assessing and managing key risks that can impact company operations, financial health, and regulatory compliance. His expertise extends to advanced data analytics, forecasting risks associated with energy prices, trading, credit and operational risk. In his role he will develop detailed risk and mitigation strategies to advise the broader business and navigate complexities as Equis becomes an electricity market participant.
Chris holds a Masters degree in Statistics and Operation Research from RMIT University.

Gerrit joined Equis in 2023 and has over 16 years of experience working across regulatory approvals in government, consulting and client environments. With a wealth of knowledge in planning pathways, he has successfully led the development approval process for multiple infrastructure projects.
Prior to his role within Equis, Gerrit held senior roles at AECOM, Echelon and Spiire. In these roles he worked across multiple large scale infrastructure projects with responsibilities including, due diligence, project approvals, impact assessments, consultation and appeals.
Gerrit holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Urban Planning) and a Diploma of Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Lachlan joined Equis in 2022 as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Manager, where he supports project design through GIS analysis and mapping. He has over 20 years of planning experience across GIS and environmental consultancies.
Before joining Equis, Lachlan worked at Biosis as a Senior GIS Consultant and Environmental Planner. In his role, he led project teams working on a diverse range of GIS projects, including supporting the development of Environmental Management Plans, cultural heritage predictive modelling, and Environmental Effects Statements. Much of his work at Biosis related to renewable energy projects including wind and solar.
Lachlan graduated from RMIT University with a Masters Degree in Geospatial Information with a focus on using special data to represent quality of life and sustainability characteristics of local communities.

Moe joined Equis in 2022 and is an Associate Director within the Grid Connections team and is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 16 years of experience in electrical engineering across the power and utilities, renewable energy and oil and gas (onshore and offshore) sectors.
His role within the Equis Renewables BESS platform includes managing large scale renewable energy connection processes across theAustralian National Electricity Market, reviewing and negotiating connection agreements, overseeing complex GPS system modelling and system design.
Prior to joining Equis, Moe led grid connections at Pacific Hydro, overseeing the engineering and technical aspects of project development and delivery to meet Australian and international standards as well as effectively managing engineering contractors. Moe has also held roles at Downer Group, Clean Technology Partners, ADNOC Group, NMDC Energy and Siemens.
Moe graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Prior to Joining Equis, Simeona gained experience working at Ausnet, Mondo and SisKon, in roles such as Electrical Engineer and Project Engineer – Emerging Markets.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Power Engineering, Automation, and Renewable Energy Sources from Ss. Cyril and Metodius University.

Stephen began his career as a specialized Electrical Technician in Townsville, North Queensland and has since gained over 19 years of experience across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) management across a number of major infrastructure and energy projects.
His expertise spans several industries, including civil, mineral processing, HV energy infrastructure, operations and maintenance services, and renewable energy. Throughout his career, Stephen has held senior positions at leading companies such as LeightonContractors, Clarke Energy, Rio Tinto, RCR Infrastructure, D&S Resources, Broad spectrum and Enerven in functions such as development, project, construction, quality and procurement management.
Stephen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Certificate of Management and Business Administration from theAustralian Institute of Business.

Arash joined Equis in 2022 and has over 25 years experience working across the renewable energy, infrastructure (roads, tunnels,aviation, telecommunication), mining and industrial sectors. With a wealth of knowledge in project management, he has beensuccessfully developing and leading project planning and controls systems for the Equis Renewables BESS platform.
Prior to joining Equis, Arash held senior roles at Downer Group, Goldwind, Service Stream, Moot Macdonald and BMD Constructions across project planning, engineering and project controls. In the renewables sector specifically, Arash has been heavily involved in development and delivery of wind farms, with over 1.1 GW combined capacity reaching practical completion.
Arash holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.), Civil Engineering from Islamic Azad University, Certificate in Project Management from SharifUniversity of Technology and Masters of Business Admiration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business.

Julie Tran
Julie joined Equis in 2023 as a Project Cost Controller within the Delivery team. She has over 14 years of experience across multiple infrastructure projects. She is currently overseeing the cost management process for the construction of MREH within Equis Renewables.
Prior to joining Equis, Julie worked at multiple companies including Goldwind, Rail Projects Victoria and MAB corporation. She has worked across both Australia and the UK for private and public enterprises.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance from the Swinburne University of Technology.

Alyce is an experienced project administrator with over 14 years of experience in the infrastructure and major projects construction space. Alyce’s responsibilities for the Project includes managing and oversight of the site, organisation of site events, tracking of sustainability and ESR targets.
Prior to her role at Equis Alyce worked at Cooke & Dowsett Plumbing Group working on projects such as the Monash Children’s hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Alyce has a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.

Alyce O’Brien

Dolores Tamayo
Dolores joined Equis in 2024 as a Senior Document Controller supporting Equis Renewables’s BESS projects. Dolores has over 12 years of experience across the Oil and Gas and EPC sector which includes two major infrastructure projects in Victoria.
Prior to joining Equis, Dolores was working on the West Gate Tunnel Project, as a Lead Document Controller and Aconex Project Administrator. She also gained experience working at WSP on the design of Melbourne Metro Tunnels & Stations where she held the position of Document and Cost Controller working with the Construction Phase Services team comprising of engineers, consultants, package owners and project managers for the transition from project design to delivery.
Prior to moving to Melbourne, she worked in Darwin with Monadelphous as Senior Document Controller and Technical Officer for the design, fabrication and installation of piping and structures for Darwin LNG. Her role continued with the Construction, Completions and Pre-Commissioning of MEC-2 train for Ichthys LNG.
Dolores is well-versed in using Aconex, Power BI and other Microsoft Office suites such as Access and Visio.

Dolores Tamayo

Avery Zhang
Avery joined Equis in 2024 as a Project Scheduler for MREH. She has over a decade of experience across the Australian infrastructure sector covering major project tenders, design, procurement and delivery (Rail, Roads & Bridges).
Her role within Equis involves assisting tender programs, reviewing contractor programs, and liaising with the contractors and internal/ external stakeholders.
Prior to joining Equis, Avery was a senior planner for Vline, working as a full-time secondee across client projects to assist and aid in the management of Signaling Design Systems and occupation planning. Avery has also worked across roles at leading contractors such as John Holland, CPB, Acciona and MTM.
Avery graduated from RMIT University with an Degree in Civil Engineering (Honours).

Shreyas Ramesh
Shreyas joined Equis in 2022 and currently serves as Finance Director. He has over 10 years of experience across a number of sectors, notably within renewables, utilities and energy. Shreyas has broad experience across all aspects of finance including financial reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering and treasury management.
Prior to joining Equis, Shreyas held positions at Globeleq, JP Morgan, the Australian Tax Office and KPMG. He has worked in both Australia and the UK in commercial and government roles. Shreyas is now an experienced energy and infrastructure professional working on all accounting and finance aspects of projects within Equis.
Shreyas holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from Monash University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oxford and is also a member Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

He also gained experience working in the Global Infrastructure Finance (Corality) team at Mazars, focusing on financial modelling and transaction advisory services to both public and private sector clients across social and economic infrastructure, renewable energy, power generation and natural resources. Matthew started his career within the Assurance and Advisory division at EY, advising large to medium sized entities within the Technology, Media and Communications sector.

David joined Equis in 2021 and has been involved in various renewable infrastructure projects in Australia.
David played a key role in the development of the 600MW/1600MWh, Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub (MREH), where he worked as the lead financial modeller as well as successfully negotiating the connection agreements. He has also worked on Equis’ onshore wind platform and energy from waste assets, assisting in forming the strategic direction of the Australian business.
Prior to Equis, David worked at Morgan Stanley, covering healthcare and TMT M&A transactions. His role included sell-side advisory with select experience including an A$500 million division divestment in the healthcare sector and advisory on a dual track process for a TMT company at an estimate of A$1.5 billion.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Monash University.

Ben joined Equis in 2023 as an Investment Analyst, focusing on renewable energy transactions and project development in Australia. Ben played a key role in the execution of the 300MW/600MWh, Calala BESS, where he was the lead financial modeller as well as playing a significant role in the securement of the $345m senior debt financing.
Prior to Equis, Ben was a Senior Consultant in the modelling team at EY, having worked on a range of engagements across large-scale core infrastructure and utilities, multinational corporates and renewable energy. During his time at EY, he also worked on a variety of assurance engagements for listed and unlisted clients in Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management (WAM).
Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Melbourne and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Tom joined Equis in 2022 as an Investment Analyst and is responsible for the portfolio level financial modelling efforts for the Equis Renewables BESS platform and wider Equis development portfolio in addition to supporting on the development of Equis Renewable’s BESS assets.
Since starting at Equis, Tom has gained experience across the entire development lifecycle of Equis’ BESS assets in addition to supporting the development activities across various other technologies including waste-to-energy and offshore wind.
Prior to joining Equis, Tom gained significant experience in robotics engineering, designing and building robotic solutions for large-scale mining operations. He worked with industry leaders such as BHP, Rio Tinto, and Nyrstar, developing systems to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance from Monash University.

Prior to joining Equis, Matthew gained experience in the field of Australian industrials private equity and strategy consulting at Accenture and Spark Equity Partners. His work at Accenture focused on post-M&A integration, where he played a key role in streamlining operations, optimizing resources, and driving strategic initiatives to ensure successful mergers and acquisitions.

Eamonn joined Equis in 2023 as an Investment Analyst to lead the financial modelling workstreams for Equis’ Australian Onshore Wind assets and support the development of the broader portfolio.
Prior to joining Equis, Eamonn gained experience in the Project and Infrastructure Advisory teams at both BDO and EY, providing financial and commercial advice to the public and private sector regarding investment into major projects. Eamonn has primarily specialised in the Power and Utilities sectors but also has experience in social infrastructure and urban renewal projects.
Eamonn holds a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) from the University of Queensland.

Kim Leangki
Kim is an accomplished engineer with over 12 years of experience, specialising in high-voltage electrical systems and renewable energy projects. Kim Joined Equis in 2024, as an Engineering Manager focusing primarily on the Equis Renewables BESS platform, offering technical expertise, and support from a design perspective.
He has held positions as a Lead Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at AMP Energy, Grid-Link, Toshiba and Vestas, where he led technical due diligence, design, development and delivery of HV substations, and project commissioning. He has played a pivotal role in the delivery of over 5GW of wind projects and successfully delivered one of Australia’s first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects using Toshiba’s SCiB lithium titanate modules.
Kim holds a Master of Power Electrical Engineering (MElecPowEng) from the University Wollongong and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Commerce, Electrical and Computing Engineering, and Accounting from Monash University.

Natalie joined Equis in 2024 as a Project Coordinator, where she supports project development and execution through operational and stakeholder management. Natalie has over 14 years of experience, successfully bringing renewable energy projects to construction.
Before joining Equis, Natalie worked at Canadian Solar in the Sales and Operations Management team. In her role, she led project teams working across key workstreams, including supporting contractual agreements, new business development, commercial negotiation and tender preparation.

Adrian Nasrian
Adrian joined Equis in 2023 and is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the electrical utility industry in power distribution, transmission grids, and renewable energy projects. Adrian specialises in managing and overseeing the design and engineering of BESS, Wind, and Solar Projects.
Adrian is an expert in system design, distribution design and network augmentation planning with experience utilising specialised software for designing and simulating high voltage electrical systems.
Prior to joining Equis, Adrian worked with several companies such as United Energy, Zinfra, UtilityVision, Monash University and Monenco Consulting Engineers Co.
Adrian graduated from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with a Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering), has a Master of Science (Electrical Engineering) from Birjand University and is a member of Engineers Australia.

Jay joined Equis in 2022 as a Lead Engineer. With over 13 years of experience in the energy sector spanning Australia and Korea, Jay specialises in project development, management, planning, and controls for a diverse range of power assets, including thermal, hydrogen, solar, BESS, and wind. In the role of Lead Engineer at Equis, Jay oversees early-stage engineering works, site selection, technical due diligence, and reviews engineering documentation during the delivery phase.
Jay ensures the seamless integration of project timelines and budgets, while also reviewing contractor programs, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives.
Prior to joining Equis, Jay held senior positions at Hanwha Australia and Korea District Heating Co., where he led project development, engineering works, procurement, and EPC project management. His contributions to large-scale projects, including thermal power plants, solar farms, and BESS, have been instrumental in their operational success.
Jay holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Maritime University and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in Australia, as well as a licensed Professional Engineer in the United States and Korea.

Shreyas Ramesh
Shreyas joined Equis in 2022 and currently serves as Finance Director. He has over 10 years of experience across a number of sectors, notably within renewables, utilities and energy. Shreyas has broad experience across all aspects of finance including financial reporting, tax, financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering and treasury management.
Prior to joining Equis, Shreyas held positions at Globeleq, JP Morgan, the Australian Tax Office and KPMG. He has worked in both Australia and the UK in commercial and government roles. Shreyas is now an experienced energy and infrastructure professional working on all accounting and finance aspects of projects within Equis.
Shreyas holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from Monash University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oxford and is also a member Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
