The proposed Wanganella Wind Farm is located next to the Cobb Highway in Wanganella, New South Wales.
This project intends to connect to New South Wales' electricity network via a switching station connecting to the proposed 500kV Victoria to New South Wales Interconnector West (VNI West). It is expected to commence operations by 2032.
Wanganella Wind Farm will produce, store and dispatch power directly into VNI West enhancing the security and reliability of electricity networks in New South Wales and Victoria.
